The Great American Stamp Show brings together stamp collectors from all over the world. Stay on top of the news here.
Register for the April 15th Stamp Chat "The Historical Context of Taxation through Revenue Stamps" with Ron Lesher
(Shown L to R are: an American revenue stamp for the tax on playing cards and an 1871 U.S. revenue stamp for 1/6 barrel of beer)
Morris Rosen (1922-2020) was a Holocaust survivor and a member of the APS. His story of survival is miraculous and it’s a story he would share countless times. APS Executive Director, Scott English, prepared a stirring tribute to Rosen for the April issue of The American Philatelist, which can be read here.
Additionally, Scott will join Jake Rosen (Morris' son) and Danny Spungen, April 28th from 3:00-4:00 EDT live on Stamp Chat to share memories and stories of this remarkable gentleman.
Four Life Memberships will be drawn and announced live on Facebook and YouTube,
April 29 at 3:00 PM EST. See 2020 Challenge Leaderboards here.
It's a good time to reach out to non-APS members and encourage them to join. Because, as of April, membership enrollment drops to $25.50 for U.S. Citizens, $30.50 for Canadian, and $35.50 for other countries.
Enroll in the APS's C3a's virtual learning event, Adding EFO's to Your Collection, taught by Cemil Betanov. Registration deadline: April 30, 2021 (*Visit here for the answer!)
