Join Mr. James Gates, librarian at the National Baseball Hall of Fame, in a unique presentation about "cardboard culture"; this presentation touches on the human desire to collect and how that impulse was used for marketing goods. The images in this presentation represent the content succinctly and include postage stamps and how they too were couched in marketing of cardboard culture. A master presenter, Mr. Gates is a passionate philatelist, collector and librarian; he is also an APS member and is featured in the June '20 issue of The American Philatelist.
