Exhibit excitement has been the theme for the Robert A. Mason Digital Library (RAMDL) for the beginning of 2025. We have been working to continue to expand the breadth and depth of philatelic exhibits in the newly christened Robert W. Hisey Exhibit Collection and are excited to highlight two examples of what you can find there.
Yoga—The Art of Living

This exhibit by Aditya Singh is a colorful, multicultural, and informative exhibit about a subject that many may only have a passing familiarity with- Yoga. Aditya uses philatelic materials to connect everything from: Fundamental yoga poses that you might see in your neighborhood yoga studio, to Yoga’s significance as a religious practice, and ultimately the historical, political, and cultural impact of Yoga around the world. Truly an example of philately’s ability to touch and connect so many different edges of a single subject. This exhibit was displayed as a part of the Virtual Stamp Show held by the APS in 2020.
Johore

Nestor Nunez takes a more traditional approach in his exhibit by showing the stamp issues of Johore prior to World War II. It includes a wide breadth of error and variety examples, details about printing, and some relevant proofs and postal artifacts. This exhibit won a Large Vermeil at the World Stamp Show- NY 2016.
These are just two of the 251+ exhibits that you are able to find in the RAMDL’s Robert W. Hisey Exhibit Collection. We’re working to continually give access to more and more interesting and exciting philatelic materials. New items are added almost every day! Come take a look at: https://digital.stamplibrary.org/.

Please note: If you have given the APRL’s digital team permission to upload your exhibit prior to December 2024 and you do not see it posted, please let us know by emailing library@stamps.org.
