The American Philatelic Center is closed, but the APS StampStore remains open for business.
Pennsylvania’s Governor Tom Wolf’s closing of “non-life sustaining” businesses created some uncertainty about the ability of StampStore to keep serving customers. With the Governor’s order, the APS employees who run it will not be allowed into the building until further notice. Fortunately, Stampstore can still take orders and payments, but there is a delay in shipping items until we are able to resume operations.

We are asking for buyers to be patient during this difficult period. Many of our members are experiencing disruptions in their daily lives, but we want collectors to continue as best as possible. We are hopeful that operations will resume in the coming weeks.
“The health and safety of our staff is incredibly important while we deal with the COVID-19 outbreak around the world,” added Scott English, Executive Director, “Many APS staff members are working remotely to continue serving our members to the greatest degree possible. We’re grateful for the outpouring of support we’ve received from members and thank you for understanding.”

No new products will be listed on StampStore until APS employees are allowed to return to work inside the American Philatelic Center.
