Course Description:
Whether you are a beginning exhibitor or an experienced one, you will learn new techniques and ideas for starting an exhibit or improving what you already have. Don’t miss a refresher on basic guidelines, including a discussion on how guidelines are interpreted by judges.
Topics to be included: Basics of Exhibit Treatment and Presentation; Differences between Display, Thematic and Topical Exhibit Treatments & How Judges Evaluate Exhibits; Advanced Mounting and Presentation Techniques for All Types of Exhibits. Take your exhibit to the next level with the help of a well-respected exhibitor and judge.

Instructor Bio: Lifelong collector, Dr. Edwin Andrews, has been a member of APS for over 44 years. Since 1972, Ed has exhibited 105 times, with 27 different exhibits, and has earned a myriad of gold/large gold medals and special awards; including multiple Grand and Reserve Grand awards. His exhibits include a variety of treatments; display, thematic, aerophilately, revenue, fiscal revenue, postal history, military postal history, Cinderella, topical, picture post card, one frame, and traditional. Andrews is an accredited Chief Philatelic Judge, a former member of CANEJ (2013-2019), Lead Editor for the current APS Manual of Philatelic Judging and Exhibiting (7th Ed. 2017), Former Board Member, Treasurer & Life Member of AAPE, and member of numerous philatelic societies. Ed currently serves as Board Member and Immediate Past President of the Polonus Polish Philatelic Society. Dr. Andrews has authored a number of books on the subject of exhibiting.
