The APS is interested in helping any specialty society whose objectives and activities are compatible with ours. By promoting the growth of specialized philatelic societies, we are promoting the growth of philately in general for the benefit of everyone.

Founded in 1956, ASPP has grown to become an international organization with approximately 300 members worldwide. Society members enjoy a common interest in the stamps, covers, and postal history of the north and south Polar Regions. It publishes the quarterly magazine Ice Cap News.
Founded in Canada in 1945, it publishes the magazine Japanese Philately five or six times a year. ISJP has active chapters in the UK, Scandinavia, Washington, DC, and Southern California.
Founded in 1979, collectors will learn about the back story of worldwide cat stamp issues. The study unit publishes a quarterly journal titled (appropriately) Cat Mews.
